“Partnership for Open Society” Initiative, that unites more than 60 civil society organizations, has submitted the monitoring results of human rights situation in Armenia in two thematic reports within the frames of the Universal Periodic Review process towards the public hearing on the situation of human rights in Armenia at the United Nations Human Rights Council to be held in January 2020 in Geneva.
Taking into account this important event, “Partnership for Open Society” Initiative invites you to participate in the public discussion titled “Civil society towards the United Nations Human Rights Council 35th session of the Universal Periodic Review of Armenia,” which aims to present the reports prepared by the civil society and develop a discussion on human rights and fundamental freedoms as well as the ongoing reform agenda in Armenia.
The event will take place on December 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan Hotel, Milano Hall (Grigor Lusavorich 4/2, Yerevan Armenia). The draft agenda of the event is enclosed to the invitation. Simultaneous translation from Armenian into English is provided.
