The Partnership for Open Society Initiative, representing more than 60 civil society organizations, is pleased to invite you to participate in a presentation and public discussion on “Open Government Partnership Independent Reporting Mechanism’s Progress Report for Armenia” in Yerevan and Gyumri.
OGP IRM has published Progress Report for OGP Armenia’s second action plan for 2014-2016. During the public event Artak Kyurumyan, OGP IRM national researcher, will present the report and share observations about to what extent the country’s action plan and its commitments reflect the OGP values of transparency, accountability, and civic participation; to what extent the Armenian government follows OGP process requirements and guidance in the development and implementation of the plan; and to what extent the 2nd action plan is ambitious, as well as the progress made during the implementation of commitments. Representatives of the Armenian government and civil society are also invited as speakers to the discussion.

The event in Yerevan will take place on April 4, 2016, at 14:45, at Congress Hotel, Picasso Hall (1st Italy Street, Yerevan).
The event in Gyumri will take place on April 8, 2016, at 14:00, at Journalists’ Club “Asparez” (96 Poushkin Street, Gyumri).
Government officials, parliamentarians, OGP Working group members, representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations, political parties, local self-government bodies, civil society and media are invited to attend the event.
