According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia there are 46,000 registered people with mental health problems.
Over the past two years the Government, with the initiative of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, verified 2 important documents; the national strategy on improving and maintaining mental health, the enforcement measures of its implementation and the concept on mental health which was supported by the Open Society Foundations-Armenia.
